Fort Myers Beach
Fort Myers Beach is located 10 minutes’ drive away. It is one of our favorite beaches. There are fewer shells than on some of the other beaches. That makes your beach run a lot more comfortable. In any case, you should not miss at least one sun set sun set. It is a dream! Parking is available along the entire beach. At public parking areas a parking ticket can be purchased at the vending machine. There are also privately owned parking areas, which - depending on the season and day of the week - are quite favorable for a longer stay. One of the most famous beaches on Sanibel Island is certainly Bowman's Beach. Here you find neither hotels nor other houses. The access to the beach leads through forest and grassy dunes. The Lovers Key State Park is located on an island besides Fort Myers Beach. Driving time approximately 25 minutes from the house. Since it is a State Park you pay per vehicle and the number of occupants. There is a shuttle service from the parking lot to the beach, but it is also easily reachable by foot. There is also a rental service were you can rent bicycles or canoes to explore the park. The beach is quite natural and you are able to find many shells. Florida State ParksNaples
In Naples we very much the beach near Naples Pier. On every visit we’ve seen dolphins there. Most of the visitors name the Delonor-Wiggins Pass Beach as an absolute dream beach. This beach belongs to the Florida State Parks. You have to pay $ 5 per vehicle in order to access the park. Further information on the Florida State Parks page
